Sadly, we have to report the passing on Sunday 22nd August 2010 of our former long term

Treasurer and Vice President ‘Roy (TIGER) Nelson’ following illness.

I have now received details of Roy’s cremation. It will be at 1.15pm on Friday 3rd September at St Faith Crematorium, 75 Manor Road, Horsham St Faith, Norwich NR10 3LF (this is off the A140 Cromer Road, just north of Norwich Airport). Family flowers only, Any donations to either Macmillan Cancer Support or Dogs Trust to Mabel Nelson, Craigneish, The Croft, Cromer, NR27 9EH.

Mabel will be holding a celebration reception at this address following the service at this address, however  it is 25 miles east of the crematorium.

Friendlies will be starting very soon! If you are looking to play and get some fitness back please contact the relevant skipper for information or come to Club training. Training is on a Tuesday evening at 7.15pm at Church Street Rec.

**URGENT MESSAGE!** 

3rd August 2010

Until further notice all training on the grass at the club will STOP.

This is due to the poor state of the grass on all pitches which need intensive treatment over the next few weeks to have any chance of being presentable at the start of the season. Continuing to train on the pitches at Grocers, while convenient, will only make them worse. The groundstaff will make every effort to improve the pitches and we will be helping this effort by training elsewhere.

First Team Training, Club Training, Ladies Training and any Junior sides who use or plan to use the grass will have to move to Church Street Rec.

This Tuesday a club Rep will wait in the car park area at the club until around 7.50 p.m and direct those that turn up to the Church Street Rec training ground.

Training for 1st & Reserve XI potential players will commence on Tuesday 20th July 2010 @ 7.30pm

Club Training for ALL members will commence on Tuesday 3rd August 2010 @ 7.30pm

All training will be on the Grocers field, but strictly training shoes only (NO studded footwear to be worn)
